Grupo Empresarial José Ruiz Marco is a family-owned company founded in 1959 by José Ruiz Marco, and for that reason we have longstanding experience in the marble and natural stone industry from the extraction in the quarries to the transformation in our factory. Our business group consists of the companies Marygran SAU, dedicated to the natural stone extraction in our quarries, and Mare Nostrum SLU, whose main activity is marble cutting and sawing in our factory of Novelda (Alicante).

From our quarry in El Cantón of Abanilla (Murcia), where Rojo Alicante is extracted, and our quarry in mount Cavarrasa of Monóvar (Alicante), the source of Rojo Alicante marble, to our factory in the province of Alicante, there has been a long journey and evolution earned thanks to our decades of experience working in the natural stone industry.

In the municipality of Monóvar (Alicante) is located our Rojo Alicante quarry. Cavarrassa quarry is the most important deposit of Rojo Alicante marble in the world, and Grupo Empresarial José Ruiz Marco is one of the few companies that work with this marble from its quarrying. It is with good reason that for more than 50 years we have been producing natural stone, and quarrying vibrant red-colored marble blocks, which are recognizable all around the world. Besides the value of our tradition and know-how, we add the exclusivity of our material in order to get a unique and distinctive marble. |
